Where we belong??
----This is purely my analysis and opinion ----
In human beings, there are broadly 2 types of people,
hardworking and successful. These 2 are mutually independent, meaning
successful people might be successful or might not be successful.
Let me start with defining what I mean by success and hard
work. Both terms are relative.
Success: It could be earning more money than peers, being in
higher designation, having more reportees under him, or making more profit than
peers. It is purely relative and a comparable with peers.
Hardworking: It is the amount of effort a person put in his
field of work. If a person is a jewelry merchant and works very hard in writing
novels, it is not considered as hard work. The effort should be in the
direction of person’s primary field of work.
Based on the permutation and combination there are basically
4 categories any person can belong to and can be represented in a quadrant diagram
So, people can belong to one of the quadrant, A, B, C or D.
People belonging to A are both successful and hardworking,
it could be because they are hardworking they are successful or because they
are successful they are hardworking, the driving factor could be either one.
People belonging to B are very unlucky fellows, they are hardworking,
but they would not receive the fruitful output, they keep working hard on the
hope that they would be successful.
People belonging to C are not so ambitious people, they are
neither hardworking neither successful.
People belonging to D are successful but not hardworking, these
are the people who are lucky and their success is majorly driven by luck which
might last longer or might expire soon.
Among these 4 quadrants there can be constant movement of
people from one quadrant to other. People who are in quadrant A and C are
supported by constant driving factors and hence it is very difficult to move to
another quadrant. People in quadrant A are driven by successful and hardworking
hence they have, lots to lose and it keeps them always motivated and would keep
moving upwards diagonally. Similarly, people in quadrant C are neither
hardworking nor successful hence they keep moving downwards. Basically, people
in quadrant A and C keep moving away from the origin and the farther people are
away from origin difficult it is to switch the quadrant. It is like an
avalanche effect which is represented by a diagonal line.
It is always ideal to be in quadrant A but choosing quadrant
might not be possible because one is karma another is the resultant. Only karma
would be in our control meaning we can only work hard but we cannot always
expect to be successful. We can control only the horizontal
movement but not the vertical movement. This is the problem with
many people to be frustrated or unhappy. There are so many people in quadrant B
who are hardworking still not enjoy the taste of success. These people either
drift towards quadrant C or be in same quadrant ranting about their fate.
I just wish and hope we could control the vertical movement or there would be only diagonal movement like the arrow indicates.
