Being Naked

First of all, I want to clarify that this blog is not about sexuality.

For me being naked is being raw. We are all so cooked that we, ourselves are not sure what we are made of. Because of the environment, because of the culture, because of so many other reasons we have become so manipulative and we have put on so many layers around us. If we are asked a simple question like 'What do you like?', our answers will be different for different audiences, and different for different situations. This is because we intend to hide the real self with the external world. Being naked is being unveiled, being naked is being honest, being naked is being raw.

There is an incident in Mahabharata where Lord Krishna takes away the clothes of Gopiks when they were taking bathe. Many people link this with the Lord Krishna's Raas Leela. But there is a philosophical meaning, it indicates that there is nothing we can hide from the God, there is nothing we can be shy of in front of the God. Being raw in front of the God is the real submission

I was analyzing few things in recent past about how people hide things, I have a friend who buys lottery ticket almost every day and he has never told this to his wife, in this case, I can easily say he is not being raw in front of his wife. There are young students who instead of attending classes and roam around, here students are not raw in front of their teachers and their parents. If we start looking into things deeper and deeper we can clearly say nobody or very few people are completely naked in front of the world. For sure I am not.

However, in life there will be a certain set of people in front of them we will be naked, in front of them we tell everything, in front of them we share some of the darkest secrets we would have never told to anyone. Usually, everyone will have a few incidents or few beliefs which they intend to keep it to themselves, even in front of their loved ones, in front of their wife or parents. They are not completely naked. This feeling of keeping things is very common and very much same with everyone. But when we tell those few incidents, those few beliefs with the person we love, the feeling we get is totally different, we feel the weightlessness, we start respecting that person, we start losing our egos, we feel blissful. I am not suggesting that we should be raw in front of everyone, but if we have shared everything except a few incidents with the loved ones, I would strongly suggest to become naked in front of that person.

Being Naked is a real bliss and everyone should experience this feeling.
