Nobody deserves an incomplete Love Story
"Nobody deserves an incomplete Love Story"; this is one of the dialogues in the movie “Finding Fanny”. When I heard this sentence I felt happy, it just made me analyze the importance of this sentence. Throughout the movie I was just thinking of this sentence as there was nothing else in the movie.
At each stage of life we tend to like people, it does not
matter whether we like a person as a friend or as a life partner. Do we always tell
the other person that we like them? The answer is a big NO. We never
convey the feelings to other person most of the times. An unwanted internal force
holds us back especially if it is love. If we never convey the feelings we
never get a chance to be with the other person the entire life. Whether he/she
accepts the fact or not that is a secondary question, but the primary question is
whether he/she knows that we like them.
I have seen many cases where a person likes/loves other
person and never dares to convey the same. Eventually the other girl/guy gets
married to somebody whom the parents see and lives happily ever after. In the
other end this person tends to feel rejected or cheated. Cheating is the
biggest perception a person can have in these situations. This is clearly not the
case of rejection or cheating. This is pure suppression of feeling. When we
feel rejected or cheated, we tend to express this feeling openly to
everyone. This simply shows our
inability to handle situations. A person who couldn’t express his/her love is doing
an injustice to love itself. Also everyone should be aware that if he/she never
expresses the love it is himself/herself at the losing end.
A biggest problem in India is girls tend to feel that if she
likes a boy then it is the responsibility of the boy to propose her. There is
no way in the world the boy gets to know that a girl likes him and he should
propose her. We are not living in 1970s or 1980s where it’s always guys who
propose girls, the times are changing and if a girl likes a guy she should talk
to him about her feelings. Girls always fights for their equality in society (although
nowadays they have the upper hand), but still when it comes to love they never
takes the initiative if they like a guy.
I just hope that people realize the importance of love in
life and never suppress their feelings.
