Because everything is temporary !!

Day before yesterday I upgraded my phone’s OS to IOS7. It was released on 18th September and I upgraded on 19th. Yesterday I was researching on the new features and changes in new OS. There are many changes, the UI is revamped, the default ringtone is changed, new control center option has been introduced and many new features are present in new IOS7. While I was analyzing this weird thought came to my mind. Today I am seeing so many new features and getting excited, will the same feature last forever? When thinking in the same angle many questions started popping up. Will the Apple phones be trendy forever? Will the US markets be major revenue generator for Indian software industry forever? Will rupee value keeps falling down forever? Will India be a developing country forever? Will the money which we earn last forever? Will the happiness we get in doing something last forever? Will the anger on someone last forever? Will the memories we have last forever? And the questions continued. 
My brain was idle and I was not getting sleep in the night. There was an unanswered list of questions which was getting importance in my brain. I started considering one topic at a time and started analyzing further. 
  1. Love: People say they are love each other forever. Is it really true? The love exists till their death in best possible case. What happens after death? Do we get a chance to be born again? If so will we start loving the same person again? What if the other person is not dead in previous life only? First of all do we remember our past lives? Will we have same mentality in next birth? Will we be born as human being in next birth? It cannot be possible to be the same person and be in love with same person in all births. This love thing cannot be forever. 
  2. Wealth: This is pretty simple topic and it dint take much of my brains processing time to get an answer. The wealth we earn do not last forever. The salary we get wont last for 2-3 days forget being wealthy forever. 
  3. Knowledge: People say the knowledge we get last forever. In their terminology forever means till old age. I have seen people who are very knowledgeable and in their old age they don't remember a thing. My grandfather who was a history teacher, in now finding it very difficult to remember his life's incidents. Where his knowledge has gone? Where is his memories? The whole concept of "Knowledge is forever" is bullshit. It is simply a void statement.
  4. Power: The person who is president of United States cannot be President forever. The person who is an underworld don cannot be an underworld don forever. A person whom people respect will not be respected forever. Power is not forever.
  5. Sin and Virtues: People say if we do any sin we will be going to hell after death and if we do only good deeds we will go to heaven. What after going to hell and heaven? we enjoy the heavenly pleasure or punishments in hell and our account will be cleared out. So the sins we do will last only till we pay for it, the good deeds we do last only till we get back its benefits. Once the business is over the history will be cleared out. So both sins and virtues are not forever.
  6. Success: I might be a successful software programmer, but it might not be true forever. Tomorrow there will be another better software programmer. Whatever success we are getting now will not last forever.
  7. Marriage: People say the marriage is for 7 lives. This statement itself comes with an expiry date. So no need to analyze further.
According to me whatever thing we consider it will not last forever. So why should we struggle for everything? Why should we cheat? Why should we lie? Why should we work hard? We struggle to earn more, we struggle to marry the person whom we love, we struggle to succeed, we struggle to become powerful, we struggle to be knowledgeable. Are these struggles necessary to survive? 

As always there are many questions which are not having any answers.

Love/Arranged Marriages

Few days back I was discussing about marriages in India and the discussion was mainly on whether to get married to a person whom we find ourselves or to a person whom our parents find. In both the cases we have to compromise on many things and in both the case after compromise also we are not assured that the partner is right for us. In arranged marriage, we will marry a person whom our parents decide. Our parents chooses a person on various criteria like his/her family, his/her current job, his/her current salary, his/her economic condition, his/her horoscope and all non-sense stuff which really doesn’t matter. These things do matter but according to me the only thing a person should look in his partner are his/her thinking patterns. Parents give much more importance to the family, and in this case i am totally against to their thinking. Crazy Movie-Marathon

If someone asks, ‘what is the one thing you have done which you will probably never do?’ I would say this. Yesterday (2/24/2018) I watched 4 movies back to back in theatre. If I think I would be shocked myself. Fuck me what the hell was that, 4 movies I mean seriously??? Yes, I watched it and to add more I watched all 4 movies sitting in 2 nd row from the screen in the same hall, same place. Now Oscar fever is going on everywhere and AMC theatres are playing Oscar nominated movies back to back on 2 consecutive Saturdays. First Saturday 4 movies would be played, and second Saturday 5 remaining movies would be played. We just have to buy a day pass and watch all the movies played on that day. Yesterday they played ‘Phantom Thread’ at 10:30 AM, ‘Lady Bird’ 1:00 PM, ‘Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri’ at 3:00 PM and ‘The shape of water’ at 6:00 PM.
