Should India legalize euthanasia

A couple of days back I watched “Million Dollar Baby” and this particular thought came into my mind. “Should India legalize euthanasia”. This is commonly known as mercy killing. In that movie the lead character will be hospitalized and will be bedridden till death. She will not be able to move any parts in her body. If a person is in such a condition where he cannot move any parts of the body and will be under constant pain, is it better to end his life with consent? If a person reaches such a condition then we should identify whether there is any chance whether he can be cured, if not and if he puts forward his thought of ending his life then we should accept it. By accepting we are ending his constant sufferings. Of course we will have to be stone hearted but nobody can see their loved ones suffering constantly. If a person loses just a hand or leg then we should never even think of ending his life. This euthanasia should be initiated by the patient and 2 well qualified doctors should accept it along with 2 nearest relatives. The doctors should make sure that the person is unrecoverable and there is no medicine available to stop his sufferings. In some cases people suffer for more than 2-3 years just before their life ends, is this required? I mean who wants to suffer when there is no way you can come back to normal life. When I googled about this i got to know that in some countries they have legalized this concept. Anyway India is a fast developing nation why can’t we legalize the same? In India we are all emotionally very attached to one another and we cannot forcefully end anybody’s life, also we cannot see our loved ones suffering. We have to choose between these scenarios, either see our loved ones suffer or end his suffering by ending his life. Anyway as per Hindu believes ending life doesn’t mean ending the Athma. Athma will always be there, it will choose another body after a person dies. Do we believe this strongly? No idea. Should we pass this as one of the constitutional right to end a person’s life when he wants to end? I am very sure that for some questions there will not be any answers.

Love/Arranged Marriages

Few days back I was discussing about marriages in India and the discussion was mainly on whether to get married to a person whom we find ourselves or to a person whom our parents find. In both the cases we have to compromise on many things and in both the case after compromise also we are not assured that the partner is right for us. In arranged marriage, we will marry a person whom our parents decide. Our parents chooses a person on various criteria like his/her family, his/her current job, his/her current salary, his/her economic condition, his/her horoscope and all non-sense stuff which really doesn’t matter. These things do matter but according to me the only thing a person should look in his partner are his/her thinking patterns. Parents give much more importance to the family, and in this case i am totally against to their thinking. Crazy Movie-Marathon

If someone asks, ‘what is the one thing you have done which you will probably never do?’ I would say this. Yesterday (2/24/2018) I watched 4 movies back to back in theatre. If I think I would be shocked myself. Fuck me what the hell was that, 4 movies I mean seriously??? Yes, I watched it and to add more I watched all 4 movies sitting in 2 nd row from the screen in the same hall, same place. Now Oscar fever is going on everywhere and AMC theatres are playing Oscar nominated movies back to back on 2 consecutive Saturdays. First Saturday 4 movies would be played, and second Saturday 5 remaining movies would be played. We just have to buy a day pass and watch all the movies played on that day. Yesterday they played ‘Phantom Thread’ at 10:30 AM, ‘Lady Bird’ 1:00 PM, ‘Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri’ at 3:00 PM and ‘The shape of water’ at 6:00 PM.
