Krishnan Marriage Story - My take

Last weekend we watched this Kannada movie titled Krishnan Marriage Story. Ajay and Nidhi Subbaiah were the main actors and there were few other artists may be around 25. Apart from these 25-30 artists there are no single artist played in the movie. My guess is the number of supporting staff which includes makeup crew, lighting crew, cleaners, etc. is more than the number of artists. If the movie is entertaining then I would have not calculated the number of artists and stuff like that but I would have enjoyed the movie. First of all there is no story in the movie apart from its presence in the title. The director and producer are the two people whom I have started considering as my role models. These people really showed me how stupid we can be and still believe in what we do. These people showed me how to consider the whole Karnataka people as dumb and believe that whatever we do they will support us. The movie is all about the main character getting married. There is no beginning or there is no end for the movie, it is just about his marriage. Finally he gets married to a his loved one but later comes to know that she is having some critical health issues and she will be counting her days to die. She will be having a disease which comes to one in 10 lack people. And there is no cure for this disease but to die. This disease will not be having any symptom and the patient will be behaving normally. Here the heroine will be having this disease. But there is a twist and the girl survives because of the love the hero shows towards her. The moral of the story is if you love someone he/she will never die until you die. But there is a logical issue which I did not able to find solution. Considering a situation where I love my wife very much and she too loves me very much then according to this movie we both will never die which is against natural law. I am still finding the solution to this. And I believe there are some questions for which there will not be any answers.

Love/Arranged Marriages

Few days back I was discussing about marriages in India and the discussion was mainly on whether to get married to a person whom we find ourselves or to a person whom our parents find. In both the cases we have to compromise on many things and in both the case after compromise also we are not assured that the partner is right for us. In arranged marriage, we will marry a person whom our parents decide. Our parents chooses a person on various criteria like his/her family, his/her current job, his/her current salary, his/her economic condition, his/her horoscope and all non-sense stuff which really doesn’t matter. These things do matter but according to me the only thing a person should look in his partner are his/her thinking patterns. Parents give much more importance to the family, and in this case i am totally against to their thinking. Crazy Movie-Marathon

If someone asks, ‘what is the one thing you have done which you will probably never do?’ I would say this. Yesterday (2/24/2018) I watched 4 movies back to back in theatre. If I think I would be shocked myself. Fuck me what the hell was that, 4 movies I mean seriously??? Yes, I watched it and to add more I watched all 4 movies sitting in 2 nd row from the screen in the same hall, same place. Now Oscar fever is going on everywhere and AMC theatres are playing Oscar nominated movies back to back on 2 consecutive Saturdays. First Saturday 4 movies would be played, and second Saturday 5 remaining movies would be played. We just have to buy a day pass and watch all the movies played on that day. Yesterday they played ‘Phantom Thread’ at 10:30 AM, ‘Lady Bird’ 1:00 PM, ‘Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri’ at 3:00 PM and ‘The shape of water’ at 6:00 PM.
