IPL Season III

And finally the IPL season 3 has come to an end with absolutely unexpected result also with some unexpected controversies encircling it. After league matches are over all the remaining matches looked like the result has been fixed. The semi final match between DC and CSK was evident for the fact that they were not playing fair cricket. The shots the players were playing was just unimaginable. The last wicket was that of Pragyan Ojha, everybody knows that he is a bowler and cannot bat well but the way he got out just showed his disinterest. It was such an irresponsible shot that even gully cricket players will not play like that. The other Semi Final match between RCB and MI also proved the fact that players were not playing fair game. I mean the batting lineup of RCB was so good that they could have chased 184 easily but they started of very slowly intentionally or unintentionally which put lot of pressure on their middle order. In yesterdays match the MI team could have limited CSK to around 130-140 easily but they dropped Raina's catch twice and gave him an opportunity to score 50 and become first player to score 400+ runs in all IPL seasons. The catches were so crucial that they literally shifted the momentum in CSK's favor. Earlier MI had very good control over the match. The score was 67 for 3 in 11.2 over and that is the last over MI had the control. CSK were far better than MI as far as ground fielding was concerned. Raina took an amazing catch of Tiwary which was like a setback for MI. Also MI should have sent Pollard lot earlier, and MI owes an explanation for not sending Pollard up the order. At the top of all these questions i have another major question in my mind. How can Dhoni win toss in all crucial matches? The answer for this question is something a lay man cannot even think of. There are so many instances to back this question. I am not denying the fact that Dhoni can manage a team well and he can win matches also for his team but the fact is he is having a huge Luck. I do not believe in Luck but in his case i am not having any other option to believe that he is lucky. Anyway the IPL is over next is T20 World Cup starting from this Friday. I hope at least World Cup will be conducted fairly.
