KT session in Office

Last Thursday in office we (me, Srinidhi and Kashyap) had a long conversation regarding how a client gives project to any company and stuff like that. I was having this doubt from pretty long time and i was always thinking about what are all the qualities a client looks in the company before giving a project. Kashyap who is our TL told much of the details which were really good stuff to be aware of. All my friends keep telling me that i ask lot of questions and today i do not know whether i should have asked so much doubts or not but kashyap answered to all my questions. The whole discussion started with some excel we were supposed to send to the client and i just asked what are the columns mean in that excel and why is that required to be sent to the client. From there it started and the discussion took us into different topic all together. We started discussing about how a company makes profit and then we discussed about stock market and then we also discussed about currency hedging. I really am not sure whether we should have discussed all these matter so seriously in working place in front of all. Even though we were having this discussion in our cubicle with very low voices, our discussion grabbed attention of other senior people. Our PM came to our cubicle and asked “what burning discussion is going on” and kashyap replied him that avinash is skeptical about why our company got the project instead of TCS and our PM was bit shocked may be thinking that i was talking against our company but actually i was just gathering the information. Then Ravi (PM) asked “which is your favorite game” I replied him that I love playing cricket for that he told getting a project is just like playing cricket you like some player and you bet on him like the way our client liked us and gave us the project. That really was not a proper comparison but still I got what he told. The fact is one of the friends of our client referred our company for this project and we got this huge project. Then Ravi went back to his cubicle thinking that we would end the discussion for that moment but I dint stop questioning (I really do not know what had happened to me that day I was asking so many confidential questions). We were still discussing about some topic when our architect (Peeyush) came and joined. He told “ I really dint want to enter the discussion but it seems some hot discussion is going on so I am poking myself into it”.  Then he asked what are we discussing, Kashyap told he was explaining about how a company gets project and went back to his cubicle and Srinidhi also went downstairs. I was the only one available for Peeyush. He was asking me what Kashyap was explaining and I just told him on the surface level what we were discussing. Then Peeyush saw my wallpaper (Rocky) and told he has seen Rocky’s statue which is present in Philadelphia. Later we started discussing about some other topic for a while and I left for the day.
