Idiotic world

Yesterday I was going through BB and there was one link provided which takes us to Sagarika Ghosh's blog. In her blog she has condemned the movie 3 idiots telling it is very dangerous movie since it encourages us to throw away our books. In ‘cnnibn’ channel yesterday there was a discussion about this movie itself. There was a person who did his engineering in IIT Bombay and now he is a musician. That person was opposing to what sagarika Ghosh was telling. And in that show there was Chethan Bhagat also and he was more concerned about his own drama against Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Aamir Khan. I really do not understand why suddenly this lady wrote all those things against the movie in her blog. Also why people started this new controversy is what I still do not understand. I mean why everybody is considering only this movie and taking the dialogues in the movie so seriously; there are so many movies in which the lead character itself does some crimes. Does it mean everybody also should follow it? Come on this is just a movie and it has to be watched for the sake of fun. We should not try to implement anything the movie tells or the characters in the movie do. People in the media just want to increase their TRPs so they will cook some new controversy every other day. There are movie which has shown different ways to smuggle goods from one country to other. Why people were silent about them. I do not know why people believe whatever this media projects. Are the people who believe everything are fools or the media is very powerful. For some questions I really do not find any answers.

Love/Arranged Marriages

Few days back I was discussing about marriages in India and the discussion was mainly on whether to get married to a person whom we find ourselves or to a person whom our parents find. In both the cases we have to compromise on many things and in both the case after compromise also we are not assured that the partner is right for us. In arranged marriage, we will marry a person whom our parents decide. Our parents chooses a person on various criteria like his/her family, his/her current job, his/her current salary, his/her economic condition, his/her horoscope and all non-sense stuff which really doesn’t matter. These things do matter but according to me the only thing a person should look in his partner are his/her thinking patterns. Parents give much more importance to the family, and in this case i am totally against to their thinking. Crazy Movie-Marathon

If someone asks, ‘what is the one thing you have done which you will probably never do?’ I would say this. Yesterday (2/24/2018) I watched 4 movies back to back in theatre. If I think I would be shocked myself. Fuck me what the hell was that, 4 movies I mean seriously??? Yes, I watched it and to add more I watched all 4 movies sitting in 2 nd row from the screen in the same hall, same place. Now Oscar fever is going on everywhere and AMC theatres are playing Oscar nominated movies back to back on 2 consecutive Saturdays. First Saturday 4 movies would be played, and second Saturday 5 remaining movies would be played. We just have to buy a day pass and watch all the movies played on that day. Yesterday they played ‘Phantom Thread’ at 10:30 AM, ‘Lady Bird’ 1:00 PM, ‘Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri’ at 3:00 PM and ‘The shape of water’ at 6:00 PM.
