Indian Media

From yesterday, all the news channel reporters have been assigned a new task. The aim of the task is to provoke all the leaders who are demanding for new states to intensify their demands. Yesterday I was watching some program in 'times now' channel in which they were debating about Telangana with all the other leaders whose requests for new state has not been recognized. The guy who was hosting the show was asking questions which are provoking to anybody. He was directly touching the ego part of the leaders. "Are you going to intensify your demands" these are the exact words he asked for a guy who is demanding for Bundelkand state. Now people from Gorkaland also started their protest for the creation of separate state. People over there have called for 96hr bundh and started fast until death protest. All these things are initiated and ignited by media itself.  The only thing these media wants is some news. If they don’t get any they are prepared to create one. Even if they get some news they want to make it big. These people know how to put fuel to burning fire. Now this Telangana thing is going on; the media is having feast. 24*7 they are projecting this thing only. And people are like carom pawns for media; they can be used the way they want. Since the number of news channels are increasing every news channel wants to be number one, every news channel wants to make money. To achieve this every news channel projects the news as if something will affect the people in some way or the other. People will not analyze the pros and cons of any news properly but they believe what media projects. So these media people are using the people in all the ways possible.

Love/Arranged Marriages

Few days back I was discussing about marriages in India and the discussion was mainly on whether to get married to a person whom we find ourselves or to a person whom our parents find. In both the cases we have to compromise on many things and in both the case after compromise also we are not assured that the partner is right for us. In arranged marriage, we will marry a person whom our parents decide. Our parents chooses a person on various criteria like his/her family, his/her current job, his/her current salary, his/her economic condition, his/her horoscope and all non-sense stuff which really doesn’t matter. These things do matter but according to me the only thing a person should look in his partner are his/her thinking patterns. Parents give much more importance to the family, and in this case i am totally against to their thinking. Crazy Movie-Marathon

If someone asks, ‘what is the one thing you have done which you will probably never do?’ I would say this. Yesterday (2/24/2018) I watched 4 movies back to back in theatre. If I think I would be shocked myself. Fuck me what the hell was that, 4 movies I mean seriously??? Yes, I watched it and to add more I watched all 4 movies sitting in 2 nd row from the screen in the same hall, same place. Now Oscar fever is going on everywhere and AMC theatres are playing Oscar nominated movies back to back on 2 consecutive Saturdays. First Saturday 4 movies would be played, and second Saturday 5 remaining movies would be played. We just have to buy a day pass and watch all the movies played on that day. Yesterday they played ‘Phantom Thread’ at 10:30 AM, ‘Lady Bird’ 1:00 PM, ‘Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri’ at 3:00 PM and ‘The shape of water’ at 6:00 PM.
