College life

Exactly 2 years back on this particular day I was very busy attending phone calls, replying to SMSes, talking to friends who had come to our house and today I am sitting in office looking at some code. 27 Oct 2007 was Saturday and I do not remember whether we dint have college or whether I dint go. From 26^th night 23:55 itself I started getting calls and SMSes wishing me for my birthday. My friends had planned to call one after another with time gap of one hour making sure that I should not sleep that night. I somehow managed to sleep in bits and woke up at 9. I had never expected my friends to plan for something big that day. They called me and told some reason and took me to college campus. In the mean time when I was not in the home 5 friends who are girls went to our house and decorated my room with all decorative items. They placed cake in the middle of the room and tied big balloon just above that cake inside which were small pieces of some shining papers (I am very poor in terminology as far as decoration is concerned). I was with guys in campus just talking all unwanted things and there these guys presented me a shirt and forced me to wear that there only. After the decoration at home got over girls called my friends there and told them to bring me home. I was totally unaware of what is happening. So after coming to home I cut the cake and distributed the cake equally on our faces. Girls had decorated my room and placed gifts in different places. They gave 2 gifts which are for life time; one of which contains the hand prints of all my friends, another one is some egg decoration, they have painted my name in eggs and placed all the eggs in a box. After all these things they all took me to backside of house and gave lot of birthday bums. This was the first time ever I cut a cake on my birthday and it was one of the best days in my life.
