Auto experience

Before coming to Hyderabad I knew that many people here prefer to travel in shared autos rather than travelling in company bus but I dint know the fact that in an auto at a time 5-7 people will travel. I had thought maximum of 4 people will be allowed along with a driver in an auto and 7 people travelling excluding driver was not even in my dreams. And this miracle happened in Hyderabad and I believe this happens only here. I had never thought of an auto to be accommodated with 7 guys wearing formals with ties. Today morning an auto driver was waiting for passengers and the auto was empty so we preferred to board into that auto. We were 3 guys sitting in the back seat and what we had thought was he will start his auto and take us to campus immediately and what really happened was different. He waited there only till 5 people were boarded and later 2 more ladies joined which made us to go to front seat and join the driver. Overall there were 8 people including 1 driver and 2 ladies. We were sitting as if we were doing some yoga till we reach campus. One thing I do not understand is why ladies are given more importance and whenever they come we guys have to move to front seat and sit with driver. How many guys have scolded this principle of giving up their seats for ladies still there is no other option but to follow the same policy. Why don’t some auto drivers paint their autos with pink color and keep it exclusively for ladies? If this comes into effect then many guys will be happier to travel in auto.
