Circumstance vs Interest

We are having an option for everything; this is what the bottom line if we analyze anything theoretically. But for most of the decisions we take there will be a strong force which will make us confine to a particular decision irrespective of our wish. Everybody is having the potential to become great leaders, great sportsman or anything they wish to be but this is not the case practically. Circumstances will sometime decide what is happening to us. A boy/girl is admitted to a school according to parents wish. That basic schooling is one of the main foundations for the way we think. A guy from an ordinary school and a child from hi-fi school are completely different. Of course the time we join any college we will be matured enough to decide about the college we want to join but tend to listen to our parents friends and all before listening to ourselves. An important factor is we usually think of our future rather than going along with the interest. In Karnataka it has become like an unwritten rule that after 12^th you have to join either BE or MBBS, even though there are lot many other options Joining engineering also is a complicated thing, we may get low scores in CET, we may not be in a position to take management seat or even payment seat, our parents may be old and we may have to choose any college from that city only, the list continues. Nowadays people don’t prefer to take computer science as their main stream in engineering due to recession even though they are interested in computer science. After joining any company also we won’t be having choice to choose the project we are interested to work. In personal life also sometimes we won’t be having any options to choose practically and we may have to take important step. These circumstances will close all the options to us and confine us to choose something which we may not be interested in. So we are not completely responsible for what we are today. Circumstances are playing major role in deciding what we are.
