Chilukuru Balaji temple

Yesterday we had gone to ‘Chilukuru Balaji temple’ alias ‘Visa Temple’. The temple was not as big as I had expected but there were hell lot of people. Many people have told that if we visit that temple and ask something to God sincerely then our wish will surely be fulfilled especially if it is related to visa stamping. Is that true? I have no answer for my own question. The common tradition over there is that the devotee has to do 11 pradakshine and ask something and if in future that comes true then the devotee has to visit the temple again and do 108 pradakshine. Yesterday my friend had come from Bangalore to do 108 pradakshine since his wish to get transferred to Bangalore was fulfilled. 4 of us had gone there and it was the first time for 3 of us. So we 3 just did 11 pradakshine and started waiting outside for the 4th person. While waiting we were discussing what all we asked God. And when it was my turn I told I asked “Sarve Jana sukino bhavantu” (meaning: let everybody be happy) and my friends dint believe me. Actually asking God to solve any problem we are having is not the solution of course I too have asked God so many times to clear so many papers when I was a studying but after some days I was realizing that I was the one who has to take care that all my papers are cleared. As far as this particular case is concerned I have just realized it but never rectified. Anyway yesterday I was not in any abnormal situation so I just prayed for the good things to happen. What irritated me there was the number of people present there. It was really too much crowded there. We were factually being pushed away if we tried to stand still at any place in the temple. I got headache after coming out of the temple but my mind was still buzzing with something. I was told from my childhood that if we go to temples regularly we get peace of mind, now I visited one of the most famous temples in India and I got headache instead of peace of mind. What went wrong is something I was not getting the answer for. Anyway we 3 got bored of waiting and went outside to drink some juice to fight the heat we were experiencing. After drinking juice we saw a guy who predicts the future with the help of parrot (‘Gini Shastra’ in Kannada). Anyway we were killing time there so thought of asking my future also just for time pass. For me he told not to wear black attire, I will settle in some foreign land and never come back to India and stuff like that but one interesting thing he told was that some girl likes me a lot. After telling all these things he told he will tell more by referring to panchanga but he will charge 250rs. We were not interested went back to waiting mode. After some 3 hrs our friend came out exhausted and afterwards we returned home and watched IPL.
